2016 Scholarship Announcement

Thanks to Leroy Sater's legacy, and a very generous gift from an anonymous donor, the Scholarship Committee at First Christian Church is please to announce six college scholarship awards for the 2016-2017 school year. After reviewing several applications and interviewing all of the applicants, the committee was extremely impressed with the academic qualifications, leadership attributes, and faith commitment of all the student-candidates. Service to others was a common theme that emerged from our meetings with all of these students. So, we consider it a privilege, and a sound investment in our shared hope for God's future, to be able to award each of the following exceptional students with a scholarship of five hundred dollars to help cover the cost of tuition and other educational expenses:

Tristan Smith

Tristan Smith, First year at Northwest Missouri State, Future High School English Teacher?
